Puppies  and shipping will be paid in full before we will ship the puppy. Pay  pal is our preferred method of payment. and we can invoice you through  pay pal - there is a 3% convenience fee for pay pal use. We will also  accept personal checks, money order.  If a  puppy is younger than 8 weeks of age, we require a $400 deposit to  reserve the puppy. Remaining balance plus shipping needs to be paid  after the puppies vet check which is around 7 - 8 weeks of age. Puppies  older than 8 weeks of age need to be paid in full unless other payment  arrangements have been made. No puppy is placed on hold unless a deposit  payment has been made.

Once you have made your choice and either  purchased a puppy or put the deposit down, we need to have your name,  address, phone number and airport you want the puppy shipped to.  We  book the flights and then email you all the details. It usually takes a  couple of days for us to get everything in order for shipping. All you  need to do is be at the airport to pick up the puppy.

** The red puppies generally get lighter in color as they get older. The darker muzzle also will lighten.
**  The tan markings don't totally appear until the black/tan puppies are  around 5 -6 weeks old. The gray coloring will turn to tan.

** We  often get asked how big the puppy is - generally at 8 weeks of age -   our puppies are weighing around 5 pounds - they do often look much  bigger than that on the pictures - pictures can be deceiving.

It is important  that you are  aware of the habit, characteristics and training that this breed  involves. Please do research on the shiba breed before committing to the  purchase. They are not considered a lap dog and do like to be "alpha"  dog -  they are like a big dog in a small body. They need an owner who  is committed to taking charge and being the leader. They can be a bit  aloof, but are very loyal companions. They are a good family dog and do  get along with children if raised with them right away.   They are clean  and generally easily housebroken.  They are independent and can be  quite possessive of their belongings and owner.  The shiba needs to be  leash trained and not trusted off leash.  

We raise  puppies for pets and companions. We do not guarantee for breeding  purposes or for show prospects. We work closely with our veterinarian so  that the puppies and the parents receive all the medical care they  need. Our vet clinic provides the health certificate required for  airline travel. We are members of the South Dakota Pet Breeders  Association -  we attend education seminars and receive the latest  information on raising great quality puppies. We do not sell our puppies  to pet stores or brokers.

If we meet you with the puppy, then the remaining balance  is either due in cash at the time of delivery or through pay pal prior  to meeting. Customers from South Dakota and those whom we meet in South  Dakota must pay a 4.5%  sales tax to the purchase.
