About Us - Dakota Shiba Inu Puppies

We started raising shiba inus in 2004 with 1 male and 2 females, we  fell in love with this breed and have grown our love for this breed into  a small hobby business. We are located in the very southeast corner of  South Dakota.

Our entire family is involved in loving and  caring for the puppies. I will start with myself (Fonda)- I am the  person you talk to on the phone or correspond with via email and will  help guide you in  selecting that perfect puppy. I am also the chief  puppy care taker. Curt (my husband) is the handyman. He has designed and  built our facilities for the puppies. He has a machine repair business.

Our 8  children and grandchildren help out with daily chores and are the greatest puppy  socializers! Our children are involved from day 1 in handling the puppies  and we love to spoil the puppies and give them lots of attention! 

 We take great pride in our customer service and will do our best to help  you through the process of purchasing a puppy over the internet. We try  to answer emails in a very timely manner. If you do not get an email  response  from us feel free to call us! Also give us a call if you want  to talk to us in person-we encourage you to call us before you commit to  a purchase.  We want to make your internet purchase a positive one. 

 We are not a large breeder - we raise the shiba inu breed and an occasional litter of golden retrievers.  We  look forward hearing from you!
